5th Workshop on Buddhism and the Fourth Industrial Revolution to be Held by the Korean Association for Buddhist Studies
The Korean Association for Buddhist Studies, led by Ven. Seongun, holds the 5th Workshop on Buddhism and the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Honorary professor Won Kwangyeon of the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology will deliver a lecture under the theme of “VR/ AR Technologies and the Future” at the International Conference Hall of the Center for Korean Buddhist History and Culture on July 22 from 2 pm to 5 pm.
Meanwhile, a 2-day international conference on Buddhism and the fourth industrial revolution will be held at Dongguk University Seoul campus from December 2. It is expected that approximately 50 scholars will attend the conference.
A member of the Korean Association for Buddhist Studies said, “Through the five rounds of workshops, we have invited renowned experts in each field for lectures and had Q&A sessions with Buddhist scholars to deepen our understanding about the fourth industrial revolution and related research. I ask for continued support and participation of those interested in Buddhism and technology-led transformation of society.”
