From November 11 to 13, 2023, the Overseas Special Districts (Acting District Head: Ven. Jeongbeom) conducted a sangha training at Just Be Temple in Seoul. 28 monks participated in the training certified by the Education Bureau of the Jogye Order to foster talents, establish networks, understand the current status of international propagation work, and formulate appropriate strategies for domestic and international propagation activities. During the discussions, various topics were covered, including the current status and direction of the international propagation work of Korean Buddhism, the current status of immigrants and propagation strategies, examples of U.S. propagation works, the Jogye Order's international activities, and Dharma propagation in the Gandhara Region and Uzbekistan.

"Although there may be many challenges, if we face them together, they will be transformed into opportunities for the globalization of Korean Buddhism," emphasized Ven. Jeongbeom. “Let’s keep our enthusiasm alive and move forward together.”
