Speaking on behalf of Venerable Ito Yuishin, Venerable Nagoshi Hohaku of the Jodo sect said, “The wisdom and compassion taught in the Dharma, together with the spirit of self-realization and healing, will guide our friendly exchanges, contributing to coexistence among the three countries and, further, to world peace.” He expressed the hope that mutual respect and trust among the three nations would be further strengthened, leading to the flourishing of the Dharma, social stability, and lasting global peace.
