Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism
Bodhi Mind Zen Center
Bodhi Mind Zen Center, initially known as Neungga-sa in 2001, was established to spread the teachings of Master Seongcheol. It started when a group of Buddhists gathered at a member's home for Dharma services and decided to create a temple. In 2002, Ven. Wonyeong assumed the role of the temple's abbot, leading its activities to the present day. Following a series of relocations, the temple has now settled in New Jersey. The Bodhi Mind Zen Center places significant emphasis on teaching and promoting Hwadu Seon meditation, inspired by Master Seongcheol, with a particular focus on the practice of 108 prostrations. The temple regularly conducts Dharma services attended by approximately 20 participants and provides various activities, including a Korean language school for children and sutra classes.
