Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism
Koryosa
Koryosa's history traces back to 1985 when they began holding Dharma services at the homes of devoted lay believers to honor the Buddha. In 1987, Koryosa was formally established with an eye-dotting ceremony to enshrine the Buddha statue and unveil the name plaque. After relocating several times, in 1992, the temple acquired its current building and has been operating from there ever since. Since 1999, it has been offering meditation guidance to the local Argentine community, a program it continues to this day. The temple's Sunday services draw a small congregation of around ten people, with a focus on Dharma talks. Additionally, Koryosa hosts meditation sessions on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
